Reaffirmation Ceremonies

Reaffirmation, or renewing wedding vows, is a very special way of celebrating your wedding anniversary or celebrating a re-union after separation.

I am happy to provide you with sample ceremonies for you to use as a guide.

At the completion of the ceremony, a certificate is presented to the happy couple.

Commitment Ceremonies

If you are a couple wishing to make a long-term commitment without the formality of marriage, you can choose to have a commitment ceremony. This is an alternative for situations where legal marriages are not possible or desired, and is a way to openly declare your love for one another, and publicly celebrate your relationship.

This ceremony is appropriate if one of you is still awaiting a divorce from a previous marriage, or when you are of the same sex or when you do not wish to marry at this time.

I will provide sample ceremonies and readings as guides and perform a commitment ceremony to suit the occasion. At the end of the ceremony, the couple is presented with a Certificate of Commitment.

Name Giving Ceremonies

Naming ceremonies are a popular alternative to christenings or baptisms. It is a fulfilling and meaningful experience for all concerned. We celebrate the new birth of your child, and welcome him or her into the world.

Your child receives a certificate with signatures of the parents, guardians/godparents and celebrant. Also, there is an area on the back of the envelope for your guests' signatures as a memento of the day.

The guardians/godparents can also receive personalised certificates, if you wish.

I am happy to advise you on all aspects of your child's naming, including providing you with sample ceremonies for you to use as a guide to creating your own personalised ceremony.
